At the moment, VeilNet during the public test stage will utilize the official WireGuard clients, which you can download from the link below:
Peer Config File #
There are two ways to obtain the peer config file, one is through the admin UI by click the download icon button:
A pop-up window will show the WireGuard peer config. Simply copy the content and save the file with a suffix of “.conf”. Then import the config file with any official WireGuard Client software. Then, it is done!
Another way to get the config file is from the host machine where the VeilNet Rift Instance is running. If you are using the Docker Compose file given in the Rift Quick Start, you will see a folder named “config” and a sub-folder named “peers”. Each WireGuard peer you created on this Rift Instance will have a corresponded config file automatically created in this folder for you. Simply copy it to your device, then import with WireGuard Official client. Done!
